Interesting process by Matt Goldman to build a new type of landing page:

So we wondered, “How can we convey these products in a way that does them justice, without really telling you much about them? How can we show something that’s not built yet… hell, not even designed yet?”

I’m also toying with the concept of letting users play with your product on the landing page as a way to pull them in. It’s brilliant, and more teasers need to do this.

Your landing page should be about glitzy copy and pretty pictures. It should let people start using your product off the bat. Matt’s Minimalytics and Nimber both do this very well.
